South African hip-hop steps boldly into a new era today with the release of three explosive singles from YONDA WAY VOL. 1“YONDA,” “Goliwood Living,” and “She Just Wanna Party.” These tracks mark the official launch of the YONDA WAY movement and set the tone for the full album arriving in January 2026Stream the singles HERE.

YONDA WAY VOL. 1 is a bold collaborative project guided by Zingah and senior producer Tweezy, bringing together nine of the country’s most exciting new voices: Kanekeid, Fistola Inecut, Horid The Messiah, Andy Maveric, Leo Brown, Buzzi Lee, ThatPrettyGirlYongz, and Leezy Lindokuhle. These artists were first introduced to the public through Zingah’s breakout interview series YONDR, where their raw talent and fresh perspectives quickly caught attention and sparked growing interest.

In August 2025, these rising talents entered a high-pressure studio camp that turned into a creative battleground. Over three days, and in the spirit of healthy competition, the collective worked alongside heavyweights Maglera Doe Boy, Kwesta, Reason, and Priddy Ugly, crafting 24 original songs and pushing one another to new levels. After the camp, Zingah and Tweezy steered a dedicated month-long post-production process, refining the material into a tight and intentional 11-track project that reflects both the growth of the artists and the vision behind the movement.

To ensure the project connected beyond the studio, the team assembled a Sound Council — a youth-led community of over 250 early listeners who signed up to hear the music before release. Their feedback helped shape the final sound and added to the rising excitement surrounding the movement.

“This wasn’t just about making songs,” says Zingah. “It was about building a moment, bringing new voices together, giving them space to express themselves, and creating something that represents where SA hip-hop can go next. The energy in that camp reminded me why this culture matters.”

Momentum is already picking up around the artists. Their electrifying performance at Nasty C’s event earned them overwhelming crowd support, and they are set to hit the stage at NotBenjamin’s StreetFest this Friday, further solidifying their presence ahead of the album drop.

YONDA WAY VOL. 1 is not just an album — it is a deliberate, coordinated step toward the resurgence of South African hip-hop, grounded in collaboration, youth culture, and a new generation stepping forward with purpose and confidence.
