After capturing the hearts of thousands with the viral success of Ngembathe, South African gospel collective Omega Circle is embarking on its next chapter with the release of the official music video for Ungasabi.

The new visual arrives at a time when audiences are increasingly searching for authentic stories that reflect the realities of everyday life. Rather than relying on elaborate visual effects or performance-driven scenes, Ungasabi tells deeply personal stories that mirror the challenges faced by countless families across South Africa and beyond.

The release follows the phenomenal growth of Ngembathe, which has inspired more than 3,000 user-generated videosacross social media platforms. Supporters have embraced the worship song as the soundtrack to daily routines, moments of prayer, family gatherings and personal testimonies, helping introduce Omega Circle’s music to an even wider audience.

Building on that momentum, Ungasabi shifts the focus from celebration to perseverance.

The opening three minutes of the music video are intentionally difficult to watch. Viewers encounter people facing retrenchment, unemployment, grief, depression, illness, hunger and financial ruin. Relationships fall apart, dreams appear shattered and hope seems distant.

Yet through every painful scene, one message remains constant.

“Ungasabi. Ungalahli ithemba. Don’t be afraid. He is the Redeemer. He will never forsake you.”

The lyrics act as a voice of encouragement, reminding listeners that faith often grows strongest in life’s darkest moments.

As the music reaches its emotional climax, the story begins to change.

People who once appeared broken start rebuilding their lives. Therapy sessions lead to healing. Families reconcile after years of separation. Graduates celebrate new qualifications. Young couples find love, while others purchase their first homes and vehicles. Parents welcome newborn children, symbolising fresh beginnings and renewed hope.

The visual serves as a reminder that restoration rarely happens overnight, but that every journey toward healing begins with hope.

Speaking about the release, a member of Omega Circle said the collective wanted the music video to feel familiar to anyone who has faced adversity.

“We are really excited to showcase this music video for Ungasabi. The video shows a lot of life’s vulnerabilities, people going through difficult times and finally things starting to look up and get better, which speaks to God being the Redeemer. We really believe this music video will resonate with so many people who have had to lean on their faith in extremely difficult and taxing times.”

To extend the impact of the release, Omega Circle will also launch a five-part social media campaign inspired by the themes explored in the music video. Each episode will focus on a different struggle, from grief and financial hardship to emotional healing and restored relationships.

The campaign will revolve around one simple but meaningful message:

“Be kind. Everyone is fighting a silent battle.”

Featured on the collective’s latest EP, Spirit Lift Me, Ungasabi reflects Omega Circle’s growing reputation for creating music that speaks honestly about life’s challenges while pointing listeners toward faith and hope.

After the remarkable reception of Ngembathe, the collective believes Ungasabi has the potential to inspire an entirely new wave of conversations about resilience, compassion and God’s redeeming love.
